Cremation

Cremation has become an increasingly popular choice for a final arrangement. What many people don't realize is that there are more options than ever before when electing to have a cremation.

Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens has adapted to accomodate the societies changes and below are descriptions of the various options available to you.

Urns

When someone thinks of cremation most likely the first thing they think
of is the traditional urn.
An urn is available in nearly countless styles andcolors and can be
made from various materials.
They can often be engraved with names and dates or they might
include a brass plate containing that information.
Some urns are designed specifically for ground burial purposes. These types of urns are casket and vault all in one and become a more economical burial choice.

Cremorials

cremorial

A cremorial is a memorial for those who decide on a ground burial after cremation. They are available in both individual or companion styles.
Similar to bronze on granite markers for traditional burials, the difference with a cremorial is that behind the name plates are recepticle urns made for placing the cremated remains. This type of memorial requires much less space than a traditional ground burial space and therefore can be more economical.
